The vegetation inside this glass enclosure was once growing and vibrant, but it is now in a frozen state of decay. It is no longer growing, no longer decaying. It is stuck in a perpetual state of moving forward and backward much like our own lives at times. As the viewer peers in the lens to get a closer look at the clock they can smell the gases coming off of the vegetation. Only as we get close to the individuals around us do we come to know their struggles, hardships, and moments of decay.
